HIGHLIGHTS:
Despite missing the
top two players (Ryan Limaye -
on a scouting mission, Ken Anstey
- closing up on a contract negotiations) the
Hammerheads took a final step to secure the
playoff spot by defeating the Usual Suspects 5:0.
Artem Mishin had his second hat
trick of the season, Chris Juwono
and Craig Wallace added two more
goals, and Mike Chicas played a
very strong game stopping 16 shots for his 4th
shutout in 16 games. Jeff Brezovec
was very strong on the defence and chipped in a
couple of the assists as well.
Noticeable streaks:
- Craig
Wallace: 9 game point scoring streak (11+11
= 22 points)
- Chris
Juwono: 6 game point scoring streak (7+7
= 14 points)
