Game Recap

HIGHLIGHTS:

The Hammerheads finished the regular winter 2001-2002 season with a usual double digit win over the Crimson Death.


Noticeable achievements by the players during the winter season:

     - Ryan Limaye wins the best scoring forward award with 43 points in 17 games (30+13). Runner up is Brent Jenkins - 40 points in 15 games (20+20); a little behind are Ken Anstey - 38 points (13+25) in 14 games and Craig Wallace - 37 points (18+19) in 18 games.

     - Patrick Chang wins the 'Tough Guy' competition with 22 PIM. Runner up is Mickey Borsody with 18 PIM. Mickey is also the all-time leader with 42 PIM (two seasons).

     - Stacey Doljack, Artem Mishin, and Ken Anstey win the gentleman play (gentlelady play) awards for not visiting the penalty box during the season.

     - Chris Juwono and Roman Gendler have played in every game this season. Chris, in addition, has played all 15 games last season and his games played streak has reached 35 games.
