Interesting Stats for the Winter-2002 season.

Team stats:
      1. With amazing 14-2 record the Hammerheads earned more points (28) than any other conference winner in the league (26 is the closest).
      2. The Hammerheads scored second most goals forward (107; best is 113) and allowed 6th least goals against (49). The goal difference is the best in the league (58; second best is 48).
      3. Special teams: Power play is at 20.5% and penalty kill is at 70%. 3 short-handed goals scored and 3 short-handed goals allowed. The Hammerheads played 7 out of 17 games penalty free.

Individual stats:
      1. Subra Narayan and Ryan Limaye recorded at least a point each in every game they played this season including playoffs (17 and 16 games respectively). Together they scored 63 goals out of 128 total which is 49.2%. Also each of them had 0 penalties.
      2. Brent Jenkins and Dennis Millstein are the other 2 players who were not called for any penalties during the season.
      3. Craig Wallace and Jeff Brezovec are the only Hammerheads to play in all 18 games this season.
      4. Jon Luong showed the greatest improvement in his offensive output. After recording only a goal and an assist in 14 games last season he finished with 9 goals and 9 assists in 17 games this season!
      5. Ken Anstey, one of the best playmakers the Hammerheads have on their roster, skips the championship game for the 3rd consecutive time.
