Inuyasha ‹‹ Character Profiles

Name: Inuyasha

Age: 60's-70's?

Info: Inuyasha is the main character (obviously). He is a half-demon with amazing strength. He is very rude at times and is mean to Kagome. He is selfish, has a short temper, and just downright mean sometimes. Due to a diffucult childhood as a hanyou (Half-demon) he doesn't trust anyone. Inuyasha has the capabilities of a regular demon, such as speed and strength. The only time he has to worry about getting really hurt is the first night of the new moon when he turns into a human for the night. He is still a strong human, but can get hurt very bad if he isn't careful. He has quite a few attacks, such as: Soul Shattering Iron Claw, Blades of Blood, and of course the Tetsusaiga. (Note: These are the US versions ;D)

Name: Kagome Higurashi

Age: 15

Info: Kagome is the lead female role in the series. She is the reincarnation of a priestess, Kikyo. She has the power of a sacred arrow, which destroys evil auras. She can purify the Shikon shards with just her touch. Kagome is the one who accidentally broke the jewel, which is explained in more detail in the information section.

Name: Miroku

Age: ?

Info:Miroku is a powerful Monk who, like Inuyasha, wants to destroy Naraku. Miroku has a wind-tunnel in his right hand that sucks in everything in its path. As Miroku grows older, the hole in his hand gets larger. It will continue to get large until it gets large enough to devour him. This hole came to be when Naraku fought Miroku's grandfather. He peirced the hole in his hand and explained that every generation would have the hole until none of his family existed. Miroku is a bit perverted, but he is fun to have around. He has imense spiritual powers, and can drive away negative forces.

Name: Sango

Age: Somewhere around 19 I think >.<

Info: Sango is a demon-slayer -- that is what her giant boomerang (which is on her back) is for. She was led to beleive that InuYasha slaughtered her people by Naraku but later found out that it was all Naraku's fault. Sango is very quiet at first because she is hurt physically and mentally. She saw her father and brother and all her people die -- and her brother has against her and hurt her -- almost to death. Sango is a VERY strong human. She is very shy (it seems that way) and is also very kind -- but watch out when she gets angry. Sango and Miroku end up falling in love, and she agrees to bare him a child.

Name: Shippo

Age: Hmm..he looks like he's 4 to me, but I've heard he's 8

Info: Shippo is a child fox demon. He appears with the thunder brothers, and attempts to steal the Shikon shards. All of his attacks are about trickery, meaning they are all illusions. He often protects Kagome, Miorku, and Sango with his Foxfire, which is some sort of a sheild.

Name: Kikyo

Age: 19?

Info:Kikyo is the Miko that pinned InuYasha to a tree 50 years back. She died right after, still beleiving it was Inuyasha that killed her, and him still beleiving she betrayed him. Kikyo had great spiritual powers, and was keeper of the Shkion no Tama, until she met Inuyasha. Her once being in love with him weakened her greatly. She took the jewel with her in death, and it was reborn into Kagome. She needs souls of dead maidens in order to keep her clay body moving, because kagome has her soul. She is motivated by the thought of killing Inuyasha.

Name: Sesshomaru

Age: Old

Info:Sesshomaru is definantly my favorite character of all. He isn't really a villian, bur he is usually seen fighting with Inuyasha so we all consider him one. Sesshomaru is almost considered the perfect youkai (demon). He has great speed and awsome power. He has two swords the he can use, one of which is for healing 100 in one stroke and the other is used against InuYasha. Sesshomaru is often called "Fluffy" by die-hard fans because of the big fluffy thing slung over his right shoulder. No one knows what this is. Some beleive is a tail, others beleive it is just there, and some think it might be fur or a weapon. Sesshomaru is older brother to Inuyasha, but he full demon, so they are only half brothers. I beleive Lord Sesshomaru hates Inuyasha because of his hatred of humans., and because Inuyasha has the sword Sesshomaru longs for.

Name: Jaken

Age: HA! Do we really care?

Info:Jaken is the little water imp who accompanies Sesshomaru everywhere and calls him by the name "lord". He has little power, except he can control the staff with the freaky heads, and can also scare people and demons with his ugly face! Kagome likes to throw rocks and skulls at his head. I would too, if I ever came in contact with something so ugly.

Name: Rin

Age: Young

Info:Rin really isn't a bad kid, but she accompanies Sesshomaru also, so I'll put her under here. Rin attempts to feed our fluffy friend, but he refuses and says he doesn't eat human food. She goes and steals fish from a village, only to get beat up. Sesshomaru finds her dead and heals her with his sword. Rin doesn't talk much at first, mainly because she still suffers from seeing her own parents' deaths. She starts talking more later, and is very loyal to her lord. Even though our fluff ball ignores her presence most of the time, he cares about her a lot. If you were to ask him why he revived her, he would claim the sword did it. But we all know that sword isn't making him take care of her and get her out of Naraku's hands. I would like to say that I am completely jealous of her. She gets to tag along with the sexy one all the time. *sigh*

Name: Naraku

Age: ?

Info:Naraku is definantly my least favorite character! He is often seen wearing that stupid baboon suit, and it bugs the heckl out of me! Naraku is the one who set Kikyo and InuYasha against each other. He is also the one who caused the wind tunnel in Miroku's hand. He almost caused Sesshomaru to be burned, and he set Kogo and InuYasha into a duel to the death. He also made Sango think that InuYasha was responsible for the death of her family and people. He was once a regular human named Onigumo, that was badly burned. Kikyo cared for Oniguo, and he soon became rather fond of her. One day, when Kikyo was not around, he summoned 100's, even 1000's of demons to feed on his flesh in return for a demonic body. Naraku was born. Naraku has detatchments like Kagura and Kanna. Info will be posted later.
