The band known today as Stoneshiver began in late 2002 when Bassist Alfredo "Jaco" Jimenez, drummer Phil Hernandez, and vocalist/guitarist Jesse "Striz" Wilkin split from the popular 311 cover band, Good Habit and rejoined with the lead guitarist, James Davis, of an older band One Side Red.
Within a few months Stoneshiver was in the studio to release their first demo of "Easy." With consistant Radio play on Clear Channel rock station 103.7 KRZR the band is still maintaining a busy concert calendar playing is venues including but not limited to: Club Fred in Fresno, LinusFest in Three Rivers, Madstock in Madera, Fresno Pacific University, Hi-Tech center in Fresno, Porky's Bar in Fresno, Royal 8 Billards in Madera, and Fresno's Chaffee Zoological Gardens.
