Chapter Ten
Ritchie: "Do you want to drive?' I asked Nikki when she got off the phone with Whitney.
"Like us ride together?" she asked with a puzzled look on her face.
   "Yeah," I said. "Is that...okay?"
"Yeah, yeah sure," she replied. We left my house. A thousand things were running through my head. I watched her blonde hair bounce up and down as she walked in front of me. I got into the car next to her. She smiled as we back out of the driveway and down the road on our way to her and Whitney's flat. We sat in silence as I was thinking.
   "Pull over," I suddenly said.
"What?" Nikki asked, glancing over at me.
"Pull over!" I repeated. She slowed down and began to pull over to the side of the road.
"Are you going to be sick or something?" Nikki asked with a concerned look on her face.
"Heh, maybe," I nervously laughed. I reached over and embraced Nikki in a long drawn out kiss. When we let go she sat there with her mouth open.
"Okay so what happened to 'I like you but not as much as you like me?' thing?" Nikki asked.
   "Late reaction?" I shrugged.
"Late - late reaction?" Nikki repeated. I smiled over at her. "I'll show you late reaction." She leaned over and kissed me again, but her elbow landed on the steering wheel, making the horn blow like crazy. We both sat back and laughed.

Abs: "What if...what if they found out about us?" Whitney nervously asked. I shrugged.
"I highly doubt it seen as how we've been 'us' for about a half hour." I told her.
"What if there was a terrible accident?!" Whitney questionly exclaimed.
"Then they;d tell us to go to the hospital," I sighed. Whitney leaned against me and I put my arm around her, stroking her hair. We both looked up as the doorbell rang.
