| Chapter Four She felt a massive headache coming on. And you're bringing it on yourself, Hannah thought. She lowered back on her pillor and sighed. Hannah decided that she needed a massive amount of rest. Before she could doze off, the doctor walked into the room. "Take this," he was saying. She put it in her mouth and swallowed without a peep. "Maybe we should leave," suggested J. "She's dozed off, we have no reason to be here." "We need to stay here!" Abs said. "There's something about that girl that we can't just walk away from." "Abs has a point," sighed Sean plopping on the chair across from the bed where Hannah lied. "But she's sleeping!" exclaimed J. "Well, wny don't we go do something for a couple of hours?" suggested Ritchie. "There's no use staying around here." "He's right," pointed out Scott. "No! What if she wakes up?" exclaimed Abs. "ABS! She'll be fine! Trust me, she's knocked out," said J. "Weelll..." "Come on!" they all cried. "Alright." They went to leave. As Abs was leaving, he took one good look at Hannah. Because he had a feeling that he would never see her again. ~A Couple of Hours Later~ "We need help in Room 555!" cried a nurse into a microphone on her blouse pocket as Five walked back into the hospital 3 hours later. "Wait a minute..." said Abs stopping short. "Isn't that the room Hannah is in?" They stood there for a second staring at each other than dashed away to Room 555. "HANNAH!" They all cried as they rushed to her bedside. Her eyes were closed and her face was so pale. Abs reached out to touch it on impulse, and felt the coldness of it wash over him. Scott signaled a doctor. "What's going on?" he cried. "What's wrong with Hannah?" The doctor's eyes saddened. "She's unconsious." "WHY?!" they all cried at the exact same time. "It seems I have fed her the wrong pill by accident," he said sadly. "I have never done something like this before. It's completely my fault." "Will she die?" cried Ritchie a look of shock paved across his face. "Highly unlikely," the doctor replied. "But she will have a case of major memory loss." "Oh noooo," they all said sadly. They all thought, how is she supposed to explain how she knows so much about us NOW? "How long till she gains consciousness?" asked Abs. "We don't know. It may be hours, weeks, even months." "WHAT?!" they all cried. "This is insane!" "Sorry," the doctor replied once again. Then he studied them closely. "Is any of you her brother, cousin, anything related?" "No," said J. "Friends of the family, or just friends?" "No." "Then why are you here with her?" "We have absolutely no idea." The doctor's face had a look of questioning. "I take it you don't know how to contact her family?" "No," said Sean. "According to her, we're in 2001." "What?" the doctor cried. "That's insanity!" Abs gave Sean a look. "Nevermind," Sean said. "Do you know her name?" "Hannah," they all said. "Hannah who?" Everybody except Abs looked at each other and shrugged. "Traft," Abs replied flatly. "Hannah Traft." They all took a seat around her bed. "Abs, how did you know that?" asked Ritchie. "I remembered. She told us on the tour bus." "You have a pretty wicked memory, mate," said Scott. They all looked at Hannah. "Is she ever going to wake up?" wondered Abs outloud. "We'll just have to wait and see," J said sadly looking at her. Just then, the same doctor who questioned them earlier ran into the room. His face was pale and flushed. His eyes were burning holes into all their sockets. "What's wrong, doc?" asked Scott. "You guys lied to me," the doctor said angrily. "What are you talking about??" exclaimed J. "Hannah Traft is dead." "DEAD!!! She's dead??" exclaimed Abs. He hurridly felt her pulse. It was there, but just barely. "NO! That can't be!" cried Scott feeling for her pulse on the other hand. "We have been here for an hour!!!" said Sean sadly. "And we didn't see it coming." "DEAD!" moaned Ritchie. "Abs was right, we should have stayed here with her," J said quietly yet sadly. "No, no NO!" cried the doctor. "SHE'S not dead! This girl is alove. Hannah Traft is DEAD." "You're confusing me," said Abs scratching his head. "Let me explain it to you slowly," said the doctor trying to remain calm. "We looked up Hannah Traft in the finder we have at the hospital and her name popped up with her parents phone number. It said SHE WAS DEAD. We all got very confused and spent the last twenty minutes trying to contact the parents." "And you never came to tell us???" exclaimed Ritchie shocked. "Why should we?" asked the doctor. "We thought you guys were liars. But anyway, we finally got a hold of Hannah's mom. She was very disturbed by our phone call. As it turns out, HANNAH DIED, just over a year ago by electrocution." "Alright, now I'm really confused," spoke Abs. They had all been sitting there in silence taking it all in for about two minutes straight when Abs had spoken. "Now you need to tell me the truth," said the doctor firmly and calmly. "Did this girl really tell you she is Hannah Traft?" "Yes," they all replied in unison. Just then, they heard a movement from the bed. They all looked over at Hannah to see her head twitch for a second. "SHE'S COMING BACK TO LIFE!" Cried Abs happily. "That didn't take long," said J sensibly. "I guess it didn't have as big as a effect on her," the doctor shrugged suprisingly. "But that's a good thing, of course." "Hannah!" called Scott. "Can you hear me?" Hannah's lips moved while nothing came out. "She's going to pull through," the doctor said assuringly. "Give it time." 2 Weeks Later.... |
