Chapter Six

Whitney: I was sitting on a cool black leather couch when I woke up again. Nikki was the only one sitting next to me now and Ritchie and Abs stood by the door, acting like guards. "Dammit, I fainted again, didn't I?" I asked as I rubbed my eye with my hand. Nikki nodded.
   "Yeah," she laughed.
"What are you doing?" I asked to Ritchie and Abs.
"Sean and Scott still have to show up, we have to ease them into coming in here," Abs explained, peering out the window of the door.
"I am..so sorry," I apologized to the guys as I leaned forward and rested my elbows on my knees. Ritchie came over and slowly sat next to me. "Its alright, I'm not going to faint again." I told him. "At least, I don't think so."
"I'm Ritchie," he said, thrusting his hand toward me. I stared at it.
"Um, I'm, um, Nikki?" I asked, looking for my name.
"Whitney," Nikki whispered. I nodded at Ritchie.
"Right," he said as he removed his hand, seen as how I wasn't shaking it. J sat across from me in the studio. His mobile rang and he removed it from his jacket.
"Hello?" he answered it. "Hey babe, yeah, we're in the studio. You're doing what? Oh, yeah. Okay. I dunno when I'll be home. Late. Okay, I'll see you then. G'bye." I frowned at Nikki.
"His girlfriend," Nikki whispered to me. My heart sank a bit.
"Oh," I managed to say. J looked over at me.
"You alright?" he asked. I nodded. "Do you remember me from the plane?" I blushed and smiled.
"Yeah, I can't believe I didn't recognize you." I laughed. All of a sudden Abs jumped up.
"No no no," he said. He leaned against the door as a loud *thud* occured.
"Ow!" a muffled voice sounded from the outside. I sat up straight, trying to peer out the door at who it was.
"Scott, come in slowly and quietly," Abs said as he opened the door a bit.
"Scott?!" I exclaimed. Nikki grabbed my arm. "I'm in like, pajamas!"
"He doesn't care!" Nikki told me. She looked at me. "He'll probably
like it." I took a deep breath as Abs opened the door a bit further and in walked Scott Robinson. I blinked my eyes and forced myself not to faint. He was rubbing his shoulder as he entered.
"What was that for, Abs?" Scott asked. He looked over at me. "Hi," he smiled. "I'm Scott." He sat next to me.
   "I know," I smiled. J stood up.
"Isn't it time to get started?" he said, inturrupting.
"Go ahead, J," Scott said, still looking at me.
"You're up first," J said, not an expression on his face whatsoever. Scott looked back at him and stood up. He headed into the booth as their manager walked in. I looked back at J and he looked away.
