Abs: "Well that was nice yea?" Ritchie asked nervously looking at his feet as he dropped me off atNikki's place. "Yep wicked!" I replied. Well erm maybe we'll do it again?" He asked hopefully. I gulped "Eh well yea...erm I've been kinda busy latley but when I have time" I said in the nicest possible way. His face dropped I felt a big pang of guilt. "But I mean I'm sure it'll be soon" I said quickly. He looked up and smiled "Great well..uh" And before I knew it he was leaning into kiss me. I quickly turned my head, grabbed his hand and shook it. "See ya" I squeaked slamming the door behind me. Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeewwwwwwwww! Ritchie: I stared at the door dumbfounded. What just happened? I knew it she hated me damn I was stupid damn it damn it damn it!. I went down to my parked car and reefed the door open. Why the hell after these years of trying did I think she liked me? God I was gullible. I pulled up at out blockof flats and made my way in. "Hiys" abs called as I stormed in. I didn't answer just walked past angrily. "Rich wait what happened?" I heard him callI didn't answer I just slammed my door. Whitney: J and I had been fighting for the last hour I had heard Rich get home but paid no attention. "Whitney stop being so childish about this!" J exclaimed sitting on my bed. "I'm being childish? Right J I'm not the one going around threating to bash up every girl you talk to." I exclaimed pointing at myself. "Do yopu really not trust me that much?" I asked a little softer. "Whit its not that..." "Right well until you sort yourself out I'll be at Nikki's" I yelled walking out and slamming the door behind. As I drove in the rain the Savage Garden song "The lover after me" Came on. I felt a small tear creep down my face as I fell into the lyrics. "Ever since you've been gone the lights go out the same The only difference is you call another name to your love to your lover now to your love to your love The lover after me." I turned into Nikki's street and shut the car off along with the song. Nikki: I quickly got up and followed Rich, what had Abs done to that poor lad? "Rich" I said softly. "What?!" He snapped back. "Ca...can I come in?" I asked. "I really just wanna be alone" He replied. I opened the door and walked in anyway. "Gee why did you bother asking?" He asked bitingly turning the loud Nirvana off that was playing on his stereo. I sat down "What happened?" I asked. He shrugged "No biggy apart from the fact that she doesn't want to go out again and she finds me repulsive to kiss." I raised my eyebrows. "She said that?" I asked shocked. "I mean I know she can be a bit bitchy but.. not that bad" "She didn't say it in so many words but it was pretty clear." He sat down putting his head in his hands. I put a hand on his back as he looked up. I looked into his blue eyes "Rich Nikki doesn't hate you" I said quietly not removing my eyes from his. I slowly leant in He pulled back "Ah...abs are you gonna kiss me?" I quickly came back to reality I WAS ABS! "What? No man" I said with a smal laugh. "I...I got something to do" I said qwuickly leaving and shutting the door behind me. I leant my bak on it Shit that was close. Why the hell was I gonna kiss RICH anyways? |
