Epilogue

"Come back to me baby, yeah, baby," I finished the song. The crowd roared and a rush flowed through my body. "Thanks to you guys, this song went #1 in both the UK and America! Thank you!" I exclaimed into the mic. My back up dancers were standing behind me, a bit out of breath after our 45 minute set. The crowd cheered in response. I smiled big. "Before I go off I just want to thank you guys for being such a bangin crowd and I want to give a shout out to my very best friend in the world, Dawn! She's here tonight cheering me on. Thank you guys, and give a warm welcome to my friends and UK's biggest lad band known to date, FIVE!" The crowd went wild with the simple mention of them coming on. My dancers were gone as I headed out the way that Five were coming on, but only Abs showed up. He grabbed my hand and pulled me back onstage. "Abs, what..?" I asked, following him. They screamed as Abs entered the light.
"Hey hey hey!" he said. "How are we all doing tonight?" The crowd screamed in response. "Good, Good. Now, the lads are all going to join me here in a second, but I wanted to come out and do something first. As you might know, Whitney and I have been together for quite some time now." The crowed screamed. "Yup, yup. She's great, ain't she?" I was blushing by know and wondered why in the world I was still out here on stage. "Anyways, I'll just get on with it now." He reached into his leather jacket coat pocket and pulled out a small box.My heart skipped a beat. I realized I was holding my breath and let it out. Abs opened the box as I brought my hands up to my mouth, astonished at what was happening. I saw his hands were shaking a bit. He got down on one knee and the crowd screamed, knowing what was coming next. Tears came to my eyes and I was smiling so hard my face hurt. Abs continued and asked me the four words I thought I'd never be asked.
"Whitney," he said, reaching out and taking my hand. "Will you marry me?"
