| Epilogue I slowly awoke, the light streaming through the window. I smiled as I turned and faced a sleeping Abs. I pulled the comforter up tighter around me. I glanced past Abs at the digital clock next to the bed. It was 10AM already. I laughed to myself, I had finally found someone who likes to sleep as long as I do. I managed to get up and out of bed. I headed into the kitchen, all the while pulling my hair up into something half presentable. I flipped on the coffee pot as I entered the kitchen. The phone rang and I rushed to get it. "Hello?" I quickly asked. "Hey!" Nikki's perky morning voice greeted me. "Nikki, how long have you been up?" I wondered. "Umm, 4 hours. You?" "About thirty seconds," I yawned. "Typical," she muttered. I rolled my eyes and made my way toward the front door. "Anyways, I was wondering if you wanted to go shopping today?" I unlocked the door and entered the hallway of our apartment building. I walked aross the hallway and knocked on the door. "Hold on, someone's at my door," she told me. She opened the door. "That's nice." she flatly said, hanging up the phone. I turned mine off. "Of course I want to go shopping," I said, walking into her apartment. "Oh, I almost forgot!" Nikki said, slapping her forehead. "Did you hear the news?" "What news?" I asked, collapsing on her couch. "Jordan proposed to Emily last night!" she exclaimed. My mouth dropped. "Oh my god!" I jumped up and Nikki and I jumped around her apartment. Holly walked through the door and stopped once she saw us. "Holly!" I exclaimed, running to her and giving her a hug. "Oh my god you all have gone crazy," she remarked. I let go of her and we all stopped, smiles on our face. "What's next, girls?" I asked. "First, we all got off the streets. Then we got wicked apartments. Now we have a wedding to plan. Can it get any better than this?" "I don't think so," Nikki smiled. The End!! I hope everyone like the story as much as I did. Back to the other stories... |
