Chapter One

J: I walked into the bedroom Whitney and I shared to see her zipping up the final suitcase on our bed. I walked over to her and wrapped my arms around her from behind. "Hey," she smiled, turning her head to look at me. I kissed her softly.
"So you finally finished packing, eh?" I asked, after we let go. I released her and she turned and faced me. "I thought we might have had to miss the bus."
"Hey, you have more clothes than I do, so don't start," she smirked, pointing a finger at me. I took a step forward and pulled her closer to me. She giggled a bit and I kissed her. How I loved kissing her. The very first thing I did once I left the hospital and met up with her was kiss her. I didn't get a chance to talk to anyone else for an hour after that, we had so much to talk about. Her and Scott hadn't talked since. I continued to kiss her when my mobile rang. "Answer it," she mumbled.
"No," I responded. She pulled away.
"Answer it," she said, pointing to my pants pocket. "It could be important."
"Hello?" I said, answering it. Whitney dragged the suitcase to the floor but it was too heavy and fell with a thud. Whitney broke out in a fit of laughter.
"Hey," Abs laughed a bit. "Did I catch you at a, erm, bad time?"
"Whitney dropped our suitcase," I smiled as she walked out into the hallway, still laughing.
"Right. Anyways, are you going to get going, mate? We've got a tour to go on," Abs responded.
"Yeah, yeah, we'll be there," I said. We said our goodbyes and hung up.

Scott: I stood outside of the bus in the parking lot, squinting my eyes from the brightly shining sun. Ritchie stood beside me. "Are they going to get here or what?" Richie asked, looking over at me.
"Who do you mean?" I wondered.
"J and Whitney," Ritchie quietly replied.
"That's who we're waiting for?" I laughed a bit, trying to hide my sinking stomach. It was like pins and needles around here when you mentioned Whitney's name anywhere relatively close to me. Nikki bounded out of the bus.
"Hey Scott," she warmly greeted me with a hug. "How are you doing?"
"I'm good, ready to go," I smiled.
"Me too." she replied. I watched as J's car pulled up in the parking lot.
"I'm going to, uh, get situated on the bus," I told Nikki as Whitney stepped out of the car. I grabbed my bookbag from the pavement and climbed the steps leading inside.
