| Chapter Nine Whitney: I was sitting rather comfortably in our hotel room in the bed next to Nikki's flipping through the channels when Abs and J burst through the door. "Whoo! That was a great preformance, mate," J alughed, closing the door behind him. I smiled a bit, trying to clear my mind and not make it obvious of what I was thinking. "Hey, babe," he said, seeing me. I smiled in response and he came over and gave me a quick kiss as Abs did the same to Nikki. "Why are you guys in PJ's already?" Abs wondered, sitting on the edge of Nik's bed. "'Cause we're tiiiiiiired," Nikki yawned. "Aw, well, we have a party we're s'posed to go to," J said, looking over at me. I shrugged. "Who says you guys can't go?" I asked. "Yeah," Nik agreed, "We'll stay here and catch up on our beauty sleep while you guys go party hard." "Aw, cool!" Abs replied, grinning. The he stopped. "Wait, is this a trap?" He wondered. "No," Nikki smiled. "Just go, have a good time." I nodded as J looked over to me. "Alright then," he shrugged. "Let's go, mate." We watched them leave then went back to what we were previously doing. About ten minutes later, there was a knock at the door. I looked over at Nikki. "I wonder who that could be?" I said. She shrugged, looking back down at her book. "So I guess you want me to answer it," I laughed. I got out of the bed and straightened my top as I walked. I pulled open the door to see none other than Scott. "Scott," I said, a bit suprised. "What are you doing here? Why aren't you with the guys?" Not that I was complaining.... "Oh, I just wanted to have a night in for a change," he laughed. I nodded a bit. "Can we...talk?" He asked, motioning toward the inside of the room. "Well...Nikki's in there." I said. "But we can go somewhere else to talk, if you'd like," I suggested. He nodded. "Nikki! I'm going to go talk to Scott for a bit, I'll be back later!" I shouted back into the room. "Kay!" was all she responded. I smiled at him and we walked out. Scott: We ended up walking out to the hotel's pool, there was no where else to go. Whitney sat on the edge and dangled her feet in the water. I sat next to her in the moonlight. "So how did you know I'd be in the room?" Whitney asked me when we were situated. "Oh, well I told the other lads that I was staying in for the night and they told me you were as well," I replied. She nodded knowingly. "Great concert," she smiled. "Thanks." I replied, returning the smile. "We try." She moved her feet around in the water, causing little splashes. "Hey, watch it now," I warned. "Don't splash me." "Oh? Why not?" she asked, making the splashes bigger. "Well, see, I'm....allergic to water," I smirked. "Oh, well then you're gonna hate me for this," she said as she reached into the water and flung some at me. "Oh, oh, you asked for it," I said, looking down at my splattered shirt. She just laughed. "Look! I'm Scott!" she laughed. "I'm Melting, I'm melllltting," I moved toward her and pushed her into the pool. She came up , wiping water from her eyes. "Scott!" she exclaimed. "You..I...ugh!" I just laughed. "Aww...you lonely?" I asked, pouting. She nodded. I kicked off my shoes and jumped in with her. She jumped on my back and dunked me under for a second and I came back up. "Ha," she replied. "That's for pushing me in." We just caught our breath while standing in the pool, soaking wet. I looked over at her, squeezing the water out of her hair. I walked toward her and got as close to her as I could without touching her. She looked up into my eyes and I knew it was right. I leaned down and kissed her, and this time she didn't pull away. Instead, she wrapped her arms around my neck and pulled me closer to her. I wrapped my arms around her waist and continued kissing her. When she pulled away and looked up at me I smiled. "I hope that was okay," I quietly said. "More than okay," she whispered back as she pulled me down to kiss her again. Chapter Ten... |
