Robert Crockett

Crockett + Hooks is also a PR firm. Partners Charles Hooks and Robert Crockett seem to help companies that may have problems like those in their "What we do " statement " Any action that could impact a communitys natural or cultural resourcesland, water, air, scenic views, historic sites, or quality of lifeis almost certain to provoke public and media interest."
Most of the people in Campbell County feel that their air, water, land and quality of life would be negatively impacted by sludge, thats for sure.
In addition they say that they "identify potential opponents and allies and evaluate the resources available to produce the desired results."
We could be wrong but we think they are talking about people like our group when they say opponents. The desired result in this case would appear to be the spreading of sludge in Campbell County.
It bothers us that a PR firm is trying to manage the citizens and voters of a community. Biosolids is at the top of their list of issues they have focused on, and if you look back at Virginia Biosolids Council, the members include Nutri-Blend, Synagro and Recyc Systems Inc 3 of the big Sludge Companies.
Since there is no "Board" listed on the Virginia Biosolids Council website and the contact and registrant information leads back to Mr Hooks we would take anything that the Virginia Biosolids Council and Mr. Hooks has to say with a grain of salt.
It is our opinion that someone paid to promote Sludge would not be able to provide unbiased information. The information referenced is readily available online and most of it was copied and pasted from the listed sites.

If you would like links to peer reviewed scientific studies questioning the safety of sludge and information on those who have been effected by it, including farmers who have used it and lived to regret it, please visit www.sludgefacts.org or www.stopsludgeva.com . We don't believe the "facts" put out by the "Evironmentally Challenged" and neither should you.
Call us at 434-376-1871 for more information on how to stop sludge in your community.
