Updates to the Page

- I went through today and checked every page on the, uh, page (no, site!), and found only a few things that aren't done. I updated all the pictures that were in need of a final look-over, and I finally put up the info on the real newsies strike. The only thing I have left to do is the actor updates, and I'm hoping to get to that soon... although my idea of soon is not quite what I'd really like it to be.

- Just a quick update today. I'm still alive, and I just updated a few (like 5) pictures in the assorted pictures area. On a non-website-related note, I graduated two months ago with a Bachelors of Science in Computer Science. Go me! That's really it for now.

- For the first time since this page has been in existence, I have the pictures section done. It's taken me about a month to do, including taking the screen shots, editing, deciding which ones to use with my limited space (and weeding out the ones that don't look great), and finally getting everything up. I've finished - mostly. There's still the assorted pictures and the group shots to do, but I think that will go much quicker than the rest. I've started school up again, but I'll try to slowly get the updates done.

- Ok. I'm done. That's it, no more. Actually, I do have a few little things left to do (specifically the pictures and actor updates, but those have never been totally finished). However, every link on the site works, hopefully, and the site is basically done. I might finish up this weekend, we'll see. So that's all for now. Oh! Happy Birthday to me, I'm 22 today. :)

- Boy, did this quarter at school kick my butt. Anyhow, this was the first time I got a chance to even look at my website, let alone edit it. The only thing I actually did today was finish the original script, but it took me an hour and a half, and boy do my fingers hurt. Copy, paste, paste, paste, paste... Augh! So, with school ending tomorrow (last final), I should be able to finish updating everything for 3.2 in the three weeks between now and when school starts again.

- The site is about 80% finished, but since school started up again a few weeks ago, finishing it up will be slow going. However, most of the pages are working, except (I believe) some of the bonus stuff. I know, I know, that's the funnest part. However, I'm hoping it won't take me too long. That's all for now, see you in a few months... (years?).

- All the bugs are now worked out of my style sheets and javascript code, so all I have to do now is redo every single page. Luckily, this will be much quicker than in other revamps because of said sheets and code. This is actually all I have to post, but it does let you know that I'm working, even if it doesn't look like it... does anyone actually read this besides me? Interesting to think about.

- What, I'm going to update once a year now? Possibly. So I never figured out that bug from the frames, but I'm chalking it up to IE being a butt, and I'm revamping the site. This isn't just because of the bug, it's mostly because I just finished a web design class for school, and I figured this would be good practice. I'll be working on this during the summer (between my two jobs, *dies*), so it'll be slow going, but that's life, right?

- Yep, I'm still here. I just got an email with a new blooper, so I went and posted that. I'm also thinking that since I've had a LOT of free time this summer, I may start working on the site again. Nothing big, but I'm trying to figure out a little bug in the frames. Oh, and a random update that's not about the site: I got married! Almost 4 months ago, on March 31st, 2005. If there's any of my old newsies buddies out there, drop me a line so we can catch up.

- This isn't so much an update as it is a quick note. Yes, I'm still here. Yes, I still check my email. I think, however, that there's not going to be a ton more work on the site. I may still put up FFs if I finish (or even start them), but frankly, I'm growing up and I don't have as much time (or money) as I need to always be checking up on the website. Plus, it's not like anything really needs to be updated. And sure, I'll change things if you send them to me, but I doubt I'll replay the movie trying to find even more bloopers. So the site's not dead, it's just kind of... resting. At least for now.

- Basically, all I did was add info about Blood Drips on Newsies Square, and change the date on my contest and poll again. For the fourth time. It's been more than a year that they've been up, and I still have zero entries. Read that again, zero. I'll probably change it, since it's either too hard or people just don't care about this one. Nonetheless, I am optimistic. This is also to let you know that I'm still here, and while nothing much has been changed recently, I check my email about once a week, so it's not like the site is dead.

- Real quick, since I have to leave to pick my brother up two minutes ago (oops!), I finished posting When You Hold Me. Please please check it out, I know it's long but really, I think it's worth it.

- So I got my wisdom teeth out on Friday, meaning I had time to finish typing up the final draft of When You Hold Me, and I have the first eight parts posted. The rest should probably be done by the end of the week, depending on how much homework I have, but here's a link: When You Hold Me, and as soon as I have this one all posted, I have two more FFs that I've been waiting for two years to write. Woo!

- Finally finished all of version 3.1 yesterday. The FF page was the last thing I had to do (which was just putting up some of my very favorite Newsies FFs up there). I also moved back the date of the contest and poll again because I've had no entries again (read: a little frustrated), so if you're reading this, please go check out the contest and poll.

- It must mean something that on Valentine's Day, I'm sitting at home revamping my website. Oh well. So I redid the side menu and deleted some way out of date stuff that I really don't need (or want) up on the site. I'm still gonna have to rework the FF page, so be patient, but besides that, everything should be ok.

- Heh. I realized that My contest and poll were suppossed to end earlier this month, and since I haven't gotten any entries (read that, ANY entries), I'm extending it until the middle of February. Please people, enter... maybe I should start advertising my website. Yeah, I think I'll do that. But if you're here, please go enter the contest or submit an answer for the poll. Please. *looks pathetic*

- Happy Halloween! Well, perhaps not for me, since I have nothing to do. Which explains why I'm updating the website. I finally finally finally finished the last of the original script, so now all the pages are the nice pretty purple that they should be. I'm currently looking for more links to add to my link page, so if you want your page added, please email me the url, title and banner (if you have one), and I'll get it up. That's all for now, hope to be updating more often.

- I have only one more page to do until the entire website is fixed to be current (as in, the new version), but it's 10 and my brother has a volleyball tournament tomorrow. Very early. We have to be there at 7:30 and it takes an hour and a half to get there, so we have to get up at... you do the math. Anyhow, I'm going to bed.

- Oops. I was kinda late in concluding the poll and contest, but that's ok. The poll results are posted, but since I had no entries for the contest (I'm telling you guys, if you enter you have a darn good chance of winning), I extended it to end when the next poll ends (which is November 7th). In addition, I completely forgot that I had a few more pages to finish on the original script so that it's up to version 3.0, so if those last few seem a little out of place, there's a reason. And I swear, I'll fix it soon.

- I did a FF for my friend for her graduation present (she's another Newsies fan), and that's finished and posted. It's called The Mayor's Daughter: DareDevil's Story, and it's much shorter than When You Hold Me (about 19 pages), so I'd love it if you'd go check it out here and tell me what you think (I know it's slightly Mary Sue-ish, but that's what she wanted, so I wrote it that way on purpose). I'm also going to finish up working on the last touches to this version of the page, hopefully within 3 or 4 days. Remember guys, I still have a poll and a contest going on right now, they end July 21.

- Been working on the original script. I have the first two done, but since it takes a ton of time to do each part, it'll be awhile before I have them all finished. After that, I won't have much to work on here except for minor updates, so I'll probably start to work on the actor updates.

- Finished the regular script, so that now matches the rest of the page. I'm gonna get to work on the original script in a bit, but first I have to wash my car because it is really dirty.

- Still home sick. Almost done with switching most of the stuff over. I also added the banner on the main index page, but I think I'm gonna change it, because I'm not sure I like it 100%. I'm actually hoping to finish this in the next couple days, not two weeks, but no promises.

- I know, I know. I just redid the layout two months ago. But I've been sick the past three days, and last night, I spent an hour and a half trying to fall asleep, and dreamed up a new layout. That was before the Nyquil, mind you. Everything's completely redone, not just sticking it in a floating frame this time. And you can go back and see old layouts, although they're not 100% correct except for v. 2.0. I'll probably spend the next two weeks finishing the updating to make sure everything looks kinda the same (as opposed to all those random colors that pop up on dirrerent pages), so be patient. I've also started working on two new FFs, although they won't be posted for awhile, because one is for a friend's graduation present, so it's a surprise, and I have to finish When You Hold Me before I do more work on the second one. That's it for now.

- I've spent the last week or so working on the Updates on the Actors pages, because I realized that I only had like 5 of them up. So hopefully I'll finish those within the next week or two. I also figured out today how to do screen capping, so after the actor updates, expect to see tons of pictures.

- Made a new layout for the page. Very exciting. There's probably still some stuff that'll need to be fixed because of it, but don't worry, I will get to it all. As always, contests and polls are still open, so go check those out, and that's all that's really important right now.

- I'm still here, I swear. Granted, I don't update as often as I should, but I'll get around to it. I have, however, kept up with the contests and polls, so don't think those are dead. I'm hoping in the next couple weeks (since it's Christmas break) to give the main page a whole new layout, and probably the rest of the website, once I'm done with that. I'm also planning to write more of my FF over the break, so look forward to that.

- Okay, so technically it looks like I haven't updated in awhile. I really have, I just forget to tell you guys that. Oops? Lesse, I finally concluded the first poll and contest, and the new ones are up. I have to go check the dates for when they end, but hopefully, it won't be for awhile (and if so, I'm gonna have to put it off because I think I've only had one entry for the contest). I just put up the Newsies DVD Page, which I should have done a couple months ago, but oh well. So this is getting a little long, just letting you know that this page is still up and running, it won't be dead for awhile yet.

- The trials and tribulations of being back at school. So don't worry, I'm still constantly working. In fact, if you've been here before, you'll notice that I redid the front page. I'm still in the proscess of learning Java, so it might be awhile before all the things I want work, but let's just say I have tons of ideas. I also finished part 9 of When You Hold Me, and I'll be posting it in the next few days... if you're totally impatient, email me and I'll send it to you, but it'll probably be up by Wednesday.

I got the ribbons up, and I also put up part 8 of my FF (When You Hold Me) yesterday. I'm about to go finish a bunch of the stuff that is still being rennovated...

- Okay, if anyone knows how I can fix the poll thigy, it'd be greatly appreciated. I'm currently working on getting Fan Fic up, which is gonna take awhile, and I'm gonna be a busy little goil soon... school, bah! Who needs it? Our newsies didn't! That, and I'm gonna be Godspell and I have a major part, so I'm not gonna have a lot of computer time. But, I'm trying, so it'll happen slowly but surely.

- Well, I figured out why the page wasn't "published." This whole time that I've been trying to get to my site and I couldn't figure out why it still said "under construction", I've been typing in the address wrong. I've been typing geocites (as in rhyming with SITE) instead of geocities (like new york CITY), I'm such a little blondie. Oh well, I've figured it our now, and it's all good, go me.

- Guess who figured out the rest of the HTML codes?! Yes, me! I'm so smart. So in theory, this page should be published sometime today... but I'm not sure how much I trust geocites... if I write that, will they delete my page? Well, if you're here, I guess it didn't. OK, so I didn't figure it out myself, I went to the HTML help chatroom, but they were talking about other things, like flying F-18's and bombing California. And when I tried to ask for help, they put me on ignore. The nerve of some guys, yeesh. Anyhow, it should be published soon.

- Finally! I figured out HTML codes. Happy Storm! Sheesh, I've been working nonstop on this page for 4 days now... Ok, well I stopped to eat and sleep, but that is it, and I'm totally not joking.
