"Get...Off...My...Plane!"

President James Marshall is a tough, no-nonsense, straightforward guy. The kind of guy we wish was in the White House. In a speech given in Moscow, he takes a stand against terrorism. And when a splinter group of Russian terrorists hi-jack Air Force One, his words are thrown back in his face.
President James Marshall
The Secret Service men assigned hustle the President to the escape pod, but James Marshall is a combat veteran, a husband, and a father, and he refuses to leave his family behind. He hides on the plane, contacts the vice-president (played by a wonderfully strong Glenn Close) via satellite phone, and proceeds to raise merry hell for the terrorists.

Operator: White House switchboard, how may I address your call?
President: (whispering) Right. Listen. Listen very carefully. This is an emergency call from Air Force one. This is the President. Can you connect me to the vice-president please.
Operator: (disbelieving) Who did you say is calling?
President: This is the President.
Operator: Yeah, right. And I'm the first lady.
