It has been a long time since I last saw my home. I have been traveling with my friends, Andraia and Frisket, looking for Bob. We had no luck until I met an old friend, The Crimson Binome, who has a ship that can take us to the Web. On the way, we met a Web surfer, Ray Tracer, who also offered to help. I am not afraid to admit it now, but I was jealous of him. I was afraid Andraia loves him more than me. In my heart, I knew that can never be true but my stubborness pushed me to hatred.

Then tragedy struck. A Web creature bit Andraia and took her energy and part of her code. I blamed myself because there was no one else to blame. I had failed in protecting her. Because I wasn't there, Andraia might be deleted.

I felt no more anger towards the surfer. It was my anger that caused Andraia to be bitten. Now I pass the time greiving over her transparent body.

It was when I was grieving that I heard a noise on the upper deck. The crew was shouting at something. I went to investigate.

Several binomes had their file-lock swords wielded and were surrounding a stack of crates. On top of the stack was a sprite. She looked a lot like Mouse but her ponytail was much longer than Mouse's and the girl was skinnier. She wore green boots that reached her knees and a tight, one-pieced suit that was sleeveless and didn't reach the knees.

At first she looked more confused than threatening. But then she emmited a hissing snarl and took out a whip from her belt. I targeted my eye on her and took out my gun.

"Freeze!" I commanded as I aimed my gun at her. She looked at me curiously and frowned when she saw my aiming eye. She put the whip back into the belt and held her hands up in defeat. She hopped down the crates. She smiled at me but I could tell she was planning revenge.

"Who are you?" I asked.

She seemed troubled and tried to answer."Ssshssesrrrssshissss" I couldn't understand her.

I signaled for her to follow me. I still had my gun aimed at her so she obliged. She followed me to the cells. I locked her in the same cell Bob and Mouse were once locked in. I told the crew to look after her. Then I went back to Andraia. She ment more to me than anything else.

Who does that big brute think he is!? I was the one being threatened. I had to attack them in self defence. I went on this ship because they might be able to take me back into the Net. I'm sure the green guy would have done the same thing in the same situation. But he wasn't thinking. He was obiously distracted with something else.

I would have fought him if he didn't have that aiming eye. It's too much trouble trying to avoid those. It doesn't matter. Girl and Boy, my companions, were still out there. I told them to stay in one place but if I'm gone too long, they will start attacking.

I looked around my cell. I was surprised to see a mouse carved into the wall with other signatures. If Mouse can get out of here, so can I. Well... maybe not because Mouse's talent is for sneaking around and not mine. I decided to put my signature there too. My ring glowed. I shone its light on the wall. When it stopped glowing, there was one more signature on the wall.

I heard screams and shouts. Triumphant laughter and other sounds of battle. My eyes grew wide. This is not the way Girl and Boy attacks. This is another battle. Web creatures? Or even the Web Riders. I can hear quite cleary.

It was a battle against the Web Riders. I can hear their modem talk. In the end, there was silence. Then two people started talking. One of them spoke modem while the other I recognized as the big green guy. Then there was a third voice. No, it was the one who spoke modem only he was speaking the language used by most sprites. And then there was cheering. (Note: In this story, Andraia isn't healed by Bob)

Suddenly, there were groans and screams of surprise. I smiled. This would be an attack by Girl and Boy. I waited.

After a while, Girl and Boy came to me. They bit the binome with the keys to keep him from inturrupting. I used the keys to get out and went on the deck. Binomes and Web Riders lay on the floor gasping for air or struggling to move. Girl and Boy's bites can't delete anything but they can weaken them.

I decided to explore a little. I went down some stairs. I entered this room and was greeted by a big snarling dog. I used my ring to put him is a stasis field.

I saw a body lying in a bed. The girl was transparent, probably bitten by a Web creature. Usually, Girl or Boy would be able to heal her. But it was more complicated because some idiot gave her some of their energy. I had to heal her.

Before I could bite her, I heard someone tumbling down the stairs. It was that green guy. I could tell he'd been bitten by Girl or Boy at least once because he couldn't stand. But he was also weakened from the battle with the Web Riders and he gave his energy to this girl.

"Please..." he stammered, " I'll do whatever you want. Delete me. J...just spare Andraia."

I looked at him with amusement. He thought that Iwas going to delete her. It's so funny seeing people react to things they don't understand. I leaned down to bite her neck.

"ANDRAIA!!!!!" He screamed. He closed his eyes. I could swear that I could see tears coming from both his eyes.

I lifted away from the girl called Andraia. The green guy stll had his eyes closed. I crouched down and touched him. His eyes popped open with immidiate fury.

"YOU MONSTER!!!!!" He yelled. He tried to strangle me but I merely pushed him away and laughed. He was in no condition to fight.

Andraia groaned and sat up in her bed. "Enzo?" she said.

The green guy who she called Enzo was surprised. He didn't expect me to save her.

"You saved her?" he asked. I couldn't speak his language so I just laughed and held out my hand to help him up. He got up but still needed to lean on the wall. I didn't let go of his hand. Girl slid off my arm and onto his. He was surprised. I looked at him calmly to show that this is what I expected.

His arm shook a little as Girl bit him. Girl slid back on my arm and entwined herself around it. Enzo felt stronger and walked around himself. Girl had healed him.

I took the stasis off the dog and the six of us went to the upper deck.

The binomes and Web Riders were still lying there.

Girl and Boy slid down my legs and started healing everyone that they bit. I went around looking at the weakened people. I saw several strange specimens. There was an overgrown binome that I thought might have been bitten by my companions more than once because she seemed very strong. There were a couple of Web Riders but one of them was much larger than the others. One sprite was unconscious, but he wasn't bitten by Girl or Boy. Instead, a surf board beside him has been punctured by fangs. Then I saw him. A Web Rider without his mask. He didn't recognize me. He looked as if he could almost remember but he didn't.

After a while, Boy and Girl came back to me complaining that they were tired. I took both of them in one hand and bit them myself to replenish their energy. The last person to be healed was the ship's captain. That was because he was trying to fight off Girl and Boy.

"Gavin!"Enzo said.

"I'm not letting these serpents get at me again this easily!" he said.

"Don't worry!" Enzo said." They healed the rest of the crew and me. They probably bit us in the first place for self defence."

I smiled at myself. About time that idiot figured it out!

So that is how I befriended the crew of the Saucy Mare. And with their help, I can get back into the Net.
