Kohen Hold

Kohen Hold was the first Hold to be created on the northern continent in the long ago past, and because of that, it is also one of the largest and wealthiest of the northern Holds. With a large, sprawling cavern complex, this Hold can easily house up to 10,000 people, and has a crushed rock path up to both of the huge main entrances, which have enormous metal doors that can close securely to keep out intruders or thread.

Lord Ralliy - (NPC, adoptable) - Lord Ralliy is a middle aged man with a big, stout stature. He stands at 6'5 and is slightly overweight. To go with his large frame are two big hands, which are always adorned with flashy rings. He has white-blond hair and gray eyes. Ralliy often wears bright colors, jewelry, and the finest fabrics Pern has to offer. Lord Ralliy is extremely extravagant, spoiled, and lavished with the finer things in life due to his status as Lord of Kohen. He's in love with wealth, popularity, eating, women, and attention, and seldom had time for his wife and children. He's calm and laid-back because he gets whatever he wants, and he often ignores plights that come to his Hold, forcing his Headwoman to handle the tough issues for him.

Lady Alexindra - (NPC, adoptable) - This Lady was a beauty when she was younger, but has since lost her youthful appearance. That doesn't lessen her looks, however. Her curly black hair is becoming streaked with silver, giving her an exotic flare and her stunning green eyes have never lost hold over people. Her body remains slender, lithe, and graceful, making her a disheartening sight to women who want to remain beautiful in their old age, but don't know the secret. Much like her husband, Lady Alexindra is spoiled and in love with her luxury. She splurges on the finest gowns and jewelry, and has very little maternal instinct. Like her husband, Alexindra also has the tendency to ignore things that could ruin her happiness.

Liyin - (NPC, adoptable) - Liyin is the young teenage heir to Kohen Hold, and one of the sweetest boys you could ever come across. He's also frightfully brilliant. He has amazing problem-solving abilities and understanding, and continues to amaze people with his brains, but fails to get any of his points across to his parents. He has wide, pretty gray eyes and the curly black hair of his mother. He's skinny and lithe, but short yet at only 5'0". Liyin's pale skin is nearly immaculate, as opposed to the dirt and scars most boys his age collect. Being the cherished heir of Kohen means he's often put in gawky, princely clothing, which he absolutely hates.

Headwoman Samira - (NPC adoptable) - This woman has a tough, militant attitude and doesn't take bull from anyone. She will gladly knock you down a few pegs if you make her angry and is disgusted by the lack of firm command that Ralliy and Alexindra exert. Samira keeps things running smoothly, despite the added responsibility of practically doing Ralliy's job for him. Samira has short brown hair that's quickly graying due to the amount of stress in her life. She's 5'7 and very strong looking. Her brown eyes are almost always narrowed, as if she's in a permanent state of annoyance. As tough and chilling as this Headwoman is, however, she is pretty when she loosens up, which is only around her lover, Rhene, and her green flitter, Leto.

Journeywoman Healer Rhene - (NPC adoptable) - Rhene came to Kohen about three turns ago when the old healer had to retire. She has long, usually braided black hair, and greenish-blue eyes. She's about medium height, but as for her body, she's an absolute buxom. Rhene's curves are strong and her endowments are large, in addition to her lovely face. That was probably the first thing that caught her lover, Headwoman Samira's, eye. Because she has taken on such a serious, tough partner, it is very lucky that she has the personality of a doe. Rhene is forever patient, sweet, soft-spoken, and charming. She can put up with nearly anything with a smile.
