Elmer is a contemporary Filipino writer
currently residing in Hawai'i. His works have been published in
luminary publications such as the Bamboo Ridge Press, the Hawaii
Review, and the Philippine Free Press. This year, he was chosen by
Dr. Edith L. Tiempo (the National Artist of the Philippines for
Literature) and the Creative Writing Foundation to be one of the 12
fellows in the recently concluded 39th National Writers Workshop held in
Dumaguete City.
At 40 years of age (and still growing younger), Elmer has seen and gone
through much in life. His works are a testament to lessons learned
the hard way, through patience and perseverance.
Bones from the Graveyard invites you to heed such lessons well.
