Scruples? Whatever…

by Matet Ceniza

Our demented society today has offered me a new career. I should consider being a homicidal maniac. Then I’d go around hacking up all those hypocrites, perverts, and airheads. A scruple is the sense of right and wrong. As a conscience, it works like a charm. Gee, I wish these people had it. But what’s right? And what’s wrong? Being a noisy madman is right, being a serene person is wrong. Could it be that our society has augmented into another level of dim-wittedness? This is going to be the longest century in this millennium. If we bring to mind the past, our society has never changed. But they were smart enough not to be bold about their obtuseness. But now? Tsk.

Fortunately though, there are still a few remaining people who can be reasoned out with. They understand the need for each individual to be heard out, to be inferred and they have a great advantage of having a gift that has been bestowed upon them since the time they learned to think. They have common sense.

It’s such an indignity to see the majority of the human race act with such dullness. It insinuates that the world is unfit to be lived in. Now I see why those UFOs never land, they just hover around. Aliens are far more superior to be caught in the web of such pettiness. Oh well, it’s their luck and my misfortune. I better go get my hockey mask and chainsaw.
