Spiderman in Japanese?!
Wow. Those crazy Japanese have everything! So I decided to go see Spiderman 2 tonight at the Alamo Drafthouse. This is a cool place because you get to eat real food and at the same time watch a movie. And before the movie they showed other films. So I'm sitting here and the movie we're watching is Spiderman in Japanese! It was a Japanese Spiderman! It was great. Very funny. I plan on renting or buying it for my personal collection. Of course, I also think that the club should watch it. Was a great little flick.
As for what else I did tonight, well, I don't know if you lot care, but I'm gonna tell anyway. I also went to this place called Suzi's Japanese Cafe and Sushi Bar and had some sushi and sake. I have to say that it was the BEST sushi I've ever had. And the sake was served in the appropriate manner, poured by an attractive woman ;-). If we get the chance, I'm going to have to recommend the Anime Club take a field trip down here and have some sushi and sake together. (Sake for 21+ only, of course.) So anyway, tonight was good and I got some great ideas for club trips and such.

Miscellaneous Update
Yeah, so I got some minor stuff to update you lot on. For anyone who comes here even remotely regularly (or is it only me?), you've probably noticed that there have been some changes. First off, I nabbed us a search bar over there on the left side. That will let us search the website and the internet from this webpage. It's really cool because I was even able to upload a template of the site so the search results page looks mostly like the rest of the site. Also, I've submitted this site to several search engines. It's also listed on about 50 webrings. Ok, so 50 may be an exaggeration, but not by much. It's probably more like 30-40. Still, webrings are a great way to bring traffic to a website. Sometime this next week I'm going to contact Baylor and see if we can't get this site moved over to their servers. When that happens, I'll probably keep this site up for a few weeks as a mirror just until the search engines and webrings update themselves.
As for anime, I've been keeping up with Naruto and a few other animes, so we'll have a good variety for next year. In fact, they just recently released a new Naruto special that is a LOT better than the previous one. We'll probably watch that at club at some point. Doesn't matter when because the new special doesn't seem to really fit in to any place in the series. As for the series, things are heating up. I won't post what's going on, because that would just be mean. But those of you who have been watching know that it's getting pretty badass ;-). Well, I think that's about it for this update. As Conrad would say...Make us proud!

Website Finished?
Wow, as scary as it is, it looks like I'm pretty much done with this site for the moment. Sends shivers down my spine. Well, as the name says, this is the Official Baylor Anime Club website for the time being. When I have time and can contact Baylor, I'll move it over to a Baylor server so it's not on Geocities. But either way, let me know what you think of the site as it stands. Use the "Contact Us" link, the mailing list, or the Guestbook. There are links to all of them over to the left. So let me know what you think!
