Pine Valley 2

Another trip into the mountains to visit Pine Valley Ranch. I love these trips! While we were there I saw a big fire in a field that the fire department was putting out. After a good sunning in the car, we drove into Evergreen to eat lunch.

Max, Jenn, Dave and Deb chose a place called the 'Wildflower Cafe'. Sounds superb to me! It's my favorite -- nice fresh greens! The Cafe was a very tiny place with lots of pictures and other stuff hanging on the walls and from the ceiling. We all decided it would be nice to sit outside, as it was a beautiful day.

After lunch the owner of the cafe came out to say 'hi'. He was a strange fellow with a funny sounding voice. Jenn called it an accent. He thought I was a beaver, like many folks do, but unlike most foks he continued to call me a beaver even though my friends kept correcting him. I think he must really like those those little water-loving creatures.

We then stopped in at the lobby of the Evergreen Hotel. I enjoyed all the old stuff they had around. Then we all went shopping at the stores in town. There weren't very many, but we saw some cool stuff and listened to a lady from Great Britain tell some of her stories. She had a funny accent, too.

In the evening we played games at the house and ate some pizza.
