Parade of Lights

Today I went along to downtown Denver to see a parade. I had no idea what this is, but I figured I can go and see if I like it.

We had dinner at a new place called ESPN Zone. It was a very busy place with a huge screen on the wall. However, instead of a movie, it was showing sporting events. There were also a bunch of smaller screens on both sides of the big screen and they all showed different sporting events.

It was quite a site! There was more to see than I could handle. My neck hurt from looking one way then the other all the time! Some folks even had small televisions at their tables to supplement all the big ones scattered around the room. I even hear that you could watch the television when in the restroom!

It turns out that a parade is a bunch of people, animals, balloons and mascots (like me!), all marching down the street. There were lots of lights and many of the marchers played music. It was really fun to watch. I would have enjoyed it more if there were fewer people and the weather was warmer. Maybe next year.
