It was back to downtown Denver today. Today's trip was to the Denver Art Museum. Max's company, as a patron of the arts, was offering a free day for their employees and fimilies. We saw many paintings in a special exhibit called "Cos Cob" by American impretionalism artists. They were nice enough and had plenty of tasty flowers in them, but I was sort of bored. I took a nap while Max and Jenn walked around the rest of the building to see all the other exhibits.
At one point Jenn woke me up and pulled me out of my traveling burrow (she calls it a backpack) to look out a window and see the library we visited a few days before. The window we were facing was to the room where "The Legacy Table" sits.
When we finished checking out the museum, we headed to a place called REI where sports and camping gear was sold. While Max and Jenn looked around at stuff they thought they'd like to have, I checked out stuff that just looked cool. It was a really big place with a huge rock in the center that people can climb. Max stood there for a really long time, contemplating if he wanted to climb it. I was wondering if the skylight over the rock let warm sunlight in. I hoped that if Max did decide to go up, he'd take me along, so I could check out the summit and see if it's worth a nap up there. Sadly, there was a lot to do and we didn't get to check out the rock this day.
