Oh Boy! What a day! We slept in because plans for the evening called for us to get no sleep! That's a first for me, an "all nighter."
We met Deb at the convention around 11 AM to make some palydough for our panel. Boy, does that get messy. There were people that came by to make some fun stuff, but I understand it wasn't as busy as it has been in the past.
After the panel we went back to the Omega Glory table to talk to new people and hopefuly make some new friends. Not long after we came back my friend, Riker Bear came by. He and I took a couple of our human companions around some of the other tables in the room. One of the tables was set up fot a local internet radio station, LP47. They have a big racoon named Sparky, who just happens to be a mascot (just like me)!
They asked if Jenn and I would do a short segment on air for their live show. It was lots of fun, I sat around and got on the webcam as Jenn talked about the convention, our group and, of course, me! She also managed to get a few good plugs in for our charity projects, the Denver Dumb Friends League and Aurora's Green Space, Clean Space. My first radio show was a big hit.
After closing up the table for the day we went to see what Marina Sirtis (who plays Deanna Troi on Star Trek: The Next Generation) had to say. She answered several questions that human folks had for her and she was sort of funny.
After the talk it was off for a quick bite to eat at the nearby Wendy's and then back to work. We hosted the Federation Ball once again with my good friend Riker Bear and the Pioneer crew. It was a smashing success and people danced until midnight. They even had some strange dances, such as, dancing with a beachball between two people. How Bizarre!
We wrapped things up and said our goodbyes to folks, since we would be missing all of Sunday's activities. Then we headed home to pack for another big trip.
