Assamite Assassins "I am the Angel of your Death, Ice fingers cold 'round your neck" Angel of Death

Based in their mountain stronghold of Alamut, somewhere in the east, the Assamites were the scourge of the West.They were fearsome warriors who diablerised anyone that they met.After the failure of the Anarch revolt, the clan were placed under a curse that prevented them from drinking Kindred blood. From then onwards they worked as assassins for both the Camarilla and the Sabbat, joining neither and demanding payment in blood. Recently this curse seems to have been broken and those that have dealt with the clan have noticed them to be more blood thirsty of late.

Although the main ethnic group is middle eastern in origin, the clan do embrace westerners into their ranks. Skill rather than race is the main reason for the embrace. The skin of an Assamite darkens with age (the opposite of all other vampires) with Elder clan members having almost ebony coloured skin. They have developed the unique discipline of Quietus. This allows them, among other things, to envelope their victims in an area of silence . This when used with the stealth powers of Obfuscate and the speed of Celerity make them feared opponents indeed.. Now that the curse forbidding them to drink the blood of Kindred has been lifted; most Assamites succumb to frenzy when drinking Kindred vitae unless they are extremely strong willed. Addiction to Kindred blood is also a problem.
