Hilary Anne Stover: Bio

Hello, and welcome to my first home page. I originally did this page before my Geocities page.

This page will tell you all about me. I'm sorry for it being so long with so much reading. What can I say? I love to write! *smile*

I just graduated from Michigan State University in December 2000. My major was Interdisciplinary Humanities. I studied theatre, English, with a specialization in film and Sociology. On July 18, 2001 I began working for a post production company in Tampa, Florida. I moved to Tampa in April 2001 to pursue my career. I hope to one day have a part in making a major motion picture.

I grew up in the northwestern part of the "mitten" of Michigan. I graduated from Petoskey High School in June of 1996. I was born in Lansing, Michigan at Sparrow Hospital on August 25, 1977. I have a younger brother, Peter (b.1980) and a younger sister, Abbi (b.1984). My parents are happily married.

I like lots of different actors and singers, too numerous to mention. To find out who some of them are, check out the "Celebrity Related" section of my web page. It includes links to a couple web pages as well as a link to an extenstion of my web page that has pictures of celebrity guys that I think are good looking.

I love meeting people and making friends but am not always very outgoing. I would even go as far as to call myself shy (sometimes). I'm not so good about going up to strangers and introducing myself. Sometimes someone has to introduce themselves to me first.

I enjoy snowboarding, skiing, in-line skating, wakeboarding, shopping, soccer, writing, watching TV, and going to movies and plays. Going to live musicals is one of my favorite things to do.

I used to volunteer in a program called Young Spartans when I was going to school at Michigan State University.  I would go to one of the Lansing area schools and work with kindergartners on their writing and counting.  I also helped the teacher with the children's testing and understanding of concepts.  It was a great experience and I had a lot of fun doing it.  The kids had so much energy and enthusiasm. They loved to have new people come into their classroom and work with them. The kids were great.  Once they got used to having me around, they'd give me hugs and they were so sweet.  I would recommend that anyone find out about similar programs in their area.  It's a great way to give back to others and it's a ton of fun working with the kids!

Well, I think that's all I'll go into for now. This page may be updated periodically so keep checking back.
