Matthew's Haven founded in 2001, is an interim relief assistance program serving children in the New Kent community. We work with local agencies to ensure children have the basic necessities of daily life including food and clothing. We also provide energy and rental assistance, all types of baby items and equipment and school supplies for children. We receive calls daily as well as offer several established programs throughout the year, including a Winter Clothing Fair, Power Pals Summer Camp, and a Back to School Fair. There is a counseling program for adults and children whose families are experiencing separation and divorce. In partnership with the New Kent Social Services Department, Matthew's Haven sponsors an Adopt-A-Family gift program at Christmas. In 2002 Matthew's Haven was the recipient of a Diocesan Fund for Human Need grant. Contact the Church for additional information. ![]() Parish Church home page
