Manning Park

Manning Park Resort is located just North of the boarder about two hours drive from Vancouver. It is owned and operated by the Parks department and has the rustic atmosphere you would expect from a Provincial Park. Lodging is available in or outside the park. The ski hill itself is small and doesn't have a lot of lifts, but it has great snow and is a really nice hill for beginners and family outings. The prices in most of the lodges are quite good and being so close to Vancouver and Seattle they book up quick, so get early reservations.
