Mt Norquay

Mt. Norquay is located across the highway from Banff town site.It is a smaller kind of a locals hill that the tourists use as a warm up for Lake Louise or Sunshine Village. Locals love it because of the terrace park, and because lift tickets are available by the hour, starting at a two hour limit. Mt Norquay is a small hill with a lot of steep and usually icy faces so beginners probably wont enjoy the runs as much as say Lake Louise. Even though a small ski hill, Mt Norquay has a couple of good mogul runs and a pretty good terrace park, and being that lift passes are available by the hour Norquay makes for a close and fast getaway. One more thing, Mt Norquay also has lights and stays open late on Friday nights. And Guess what? You can even rent out the whole hill and invite just your friends, cool ha?
