Powder King

Powder King is the King when it comes to the white stuff. Over 41 feet of natural champaign fluff fell last year and not only did Ski Magazine do a big article on it but the mountain also won Skiing Canada Magazines "Best of Skiing 2000" "Best Powder" award. This resort has all the charm of the old warming house days and a down home local atmosphere . It kinda reminds me of Big Red in Rossland, only with a whole lot more snow, or Powder Springs in Revelstoke but larger and without the fog. Its a long way off into the great Canadian Wilderness, I recommend taking a few days to also explore some of the other hills along the way.
