Silver is a jewel in the Canadian Rockies. This resort has everything a skier could want, great vertical, long open runs, a great lift system,lodging and all the fresh powder you want. Silver Star has a relaxed atmosphere despite its size. The resort is laid out like a western town only with an art deco color scheme for its buildings. But don't get me wrong, this place has all it takes to provide a first class ski vacation. On hill dinning and lodging are available as well as many other boutiques and coffee shops, There is even a one horse sleigh for romantic rides with someone special. Also, Silver Star has a fantastic series of cross country trails,eighty four mile of them! Some of which traverse the ridge to Sovereign Lake. Silver is a real fun place to ski .
