FROM THE EAST

Brethren,

July and August were busy months for Strafford Lodge. All of the prep work and painting has been finished upstairs and down. The murals downstairs have all been outlined and we’re beginning to add some color. If you have not been to lodge for awhile you should come down for a stated meeting or even to watch us put on a degree, like the EA degree we did last month for our newest three candidates. There were several first time visitors that came to watch the degree. After we closed the meeting, a brother had mentioned how happy he was to see the lodge with a “clean and fresh” look, and that he had really enjoyed watching the degree!

If you have not been to lodge in the past year, you should really try and make it out and meet your new brothers and see how we’ve been keeping busy. September’s Fall Cookout would be a great time to bring the family down have some food, some friendship, check out the lodge, and then leave full and happy.

September’s stated meeting will be planning our fall programs. We have a lot of work to do between our programs, degrees, visitations, and suppers. If you have some time come give us a hand! We could use it!

Our next upcoming degree will be the Fellowcraft, Sepetember 16th. Our Senior Warden will be in the East that night. Mark this date on the calendar so you can see how well the candidates do on there lessons. Remember when you did yours??? Come show your support!

October 7th, Wednesday, Fellowship Night :

Dinner will be served at 6pm call for reservations or e-mail Adams1981@aol.com. Casual dress.

October 14th, Wednesday, Stated Meeting :

Meeting will begin at 7pm. Break for collation after the program. Officers: Suits.

October 21st, Wednesday, Master Mason Degree:

Dinner at 6 pm. Meeting will begin at 7pm. Officers: Tux.
