	The Straight Shot story begins way back when, just three years ago, in 1999.  Four kids from Bayside, Queens with the mere intent to jam began doing so, and in the process realized that they possessed the ability to really rip up some music. With the addition of a bass player, the metal band Warfix was born.  Sean Murphy, at the measly age of thirteen, throated loud, brutal vocals; Mike Kaabe, alos thirteen, fiercely pounded the drums; fourteen year old Bryan Goldsman and fifteen year old Jes K. doled out amazing guitar riffs, and fourteen year old Blaze Forgione slapped the bass. After numerous New York shows with the likes of Crowbar, Madizm, Shutdown, NRSV, Nothing Lost, and many more, the band released a seven-song LP entitled, "There Is No Solution". Three hundred CD's and thirty somewhat shows later, Warfix sadly decided to call it quits in September 2000.      Fastforward to March of 2001:  Former Warfix members Sean, Bryan and Mike teamed up with new found bassist Adem Birson, and began to jam once again in good old Bryan's basement. They soon pronounced themselves a new band, and Straight Shot was born. Finally, after months of meticulous planning, Straight Shot has taken the boroughs by storm with their insane stage presence, playing such venues as Lamour's and The Red Zone, while gaining tons of new followers and listeners to their already large fan base at every show.      Straight Shot has now been unleashed, blending the raw fury of furiously fast fretwork and groove oriented riffs, along with vocals that meet between broken glass and burning lungs, all over a complete persussive assault on your ears. This is not to be missed.
