What is an .msi file?
An .msi file is a Microsoft Windows Installer file. If you have a recent version of Microsoft Windows, you should be able to double click on an .msi file to install the product. Earlier versions of Windows, can be updated with the latest version of the Microsoft Windows Installer, which can be found at one of the following Microsoft links:
Windows Installer for Windows 95, Windows 98, and Windows ME
Windows Installer for Windows NT and Windows 2000
Once your version of Windows has been updated you can double click on the .msi file to begin the installation.
