Burlington's own Strange Folk, a modern romantic quartet with a seriously
mean groove and considerable talent, has the No. 2 spot. Catch them while
you can. In the next two months, they'll play Boston, New York City, and
Washington, DC, among other East Coast cities. "We're pretty awestruck
that it's come with some ease," says rhythm guitarist, Reid Genauer. But
we agree with drummer Luke Smith, who says, "Screw that we've worked for it!"
