It must be a cloudless day; even thought the oak leaves nearly close off any view of the sky, you can tell how strong the sun is shining over head from the dappled light spots dancing on the ground. The path you're traveling on grows fainter as you continue on it, till it nearly seems to disappear. You welcome the change though; the fallen leaves on the ground offer a much softer and quieter path to walk on. You walk forward in the same general direction as the path though, occasionally taking little side jaunts to look at something interesting. On one of these side trips, you quickly walk around one of the oaks, when your foot kicks something hard. Confused, you look next to the trunk and see a very curious thing.

It's a bottle, just sitting there even though you haven't seen any signs of life for awhile. You turn around and look at all the directions around you, hoping for a glimpse of who put the bottle there, or why. What you come across is a beautiful unicorn, just raising her head to look at you.

She looks at you curiously for a few moments. "Hello," she calls to you, a distinctly musical lit to her voice. "What brings you this way?" You have to admit you're not really sure why you're there, to which she simply smiles at and nods, apparently used to that response. "As good an answer as any, really...I am Skadivala, and my sister is Verdandi." Her sister? You look around quickly again, and see an earth toned unicorn looking back at you patiently- from the similarities between both of them, you'd guess that they must be twins.

You wonder how you could have missed her the first time you looked around. Verdandi looks at you with an amused expression for your obvious confusion, and asks, "How are things for you, stranger?" You tell her that things have been well, and then the conversation falls into silence, which really seemed to be the perfect match for this place. You look at the two unicorns nestled in the fallen leaves for one last time, before telling them good bye. "Farewell," they call out in harmony together, causing you to smile as you head back to the path...
