hurrah...more updating and stuff...studying for goddamn regents that the state of New York likes to have..i think California has them too....nutty little states that we are. so yes all well and good then. work as a disgruntled check out girl continues at the local A&P. at least it pays well. annoying customers and screaming kids, always fun. at least we get a 15 minute for a shift less than six hours, or one 30 minute break for a shift longer than six hours. isn't that nice of them. by the way i'm never buying food from my local A&P ever again. i don't think i'll further discuss that...

summer softball has begun again....oh i'm dying from the suspense.... i think i'll be lucky if i don't die this season like i almost did last season. always a fun experience. let's just say it was really really hot out, one inning lasted 37 minutes, i had been sick that morning, had no fluids, went from being really really hot and dry (heat exhaustion) to really really cold (they dumped water all over me to cool me down). i went into shock and had to be taken to the hospital. IV's are just great accessories, they're all the rage. blue feet and shivers too! what was really cute though was when i came back my whole team was waiting to see me. of course they had to spoil it by going, "you okay? yeah? good okay let's go." and off they went to a huge amusement park. though what was really sweet was one of my friends lil' sister was th eonly person who won a prize at those rigged game concessions and she gave it to me because she had been worried about me when i went to the hospital. she's so cute.

i wonder what it'll be like in Texas. that should be nice and hot. oh well for me its just one day of competition. softball nationals last all week. the coolest thing about the softball nationals were the pins. every team had their own pin (ours looks like crap). it was for some reason really fun to trade pins. i got to be really good at it or at least i think so. i learned quickly you have to ask inderectly to see someones pin. if you just say, "hey you wanna trade pins??" your stuck with what ever you get, unless you have no problem in saying, "uh your pin is ugly. i don't want it." me, i used the, "hey do you have a pin? can i see it?" if i didn't like it, all i had to say was, "oh sorry i all ready got that one." they always fell for it or they just didn't care all that much. whatever. all i know was i got some mad cool pins from last year. the one good thing about the nationals. that and the dorms we stayed at.

each dorm had its own little AC. i think i kept mine on high the entire time. kept my room frosty. i loved the showers. they were separate from each other and unlike at home, you could run the water as long as you wanted to. the dorms also had a soda machine, and laundry mat and a nice quad in fornt of it which was cool. we had a good time playing wiffle ball out there, even in the rain, until it started lightening. zap! we even made a pyramid out on it. until we all toppled over in to a huge heap of human bodies, each person screaming at the next to get the hell off.
