Sequel to Airborne Assault Announced

Panther Games and Matrix Games announces that they will be making Airborne Assault: Highway to the Reich as a follow-up to Airborne Assault: Red Devils over Arnhem.

Matrix Games and Panther Games announced today that they have entered into a partnership and will be making new wargames using the Airborne Assault engine. Highway to the Reich and Red Devils over Arnhem combined will cover the remaining Operation Market Garden battles.

"Panther Games' new Airborne Assault: Highway to the Reich will showcase one of the most outstanding yet relatively unknown wargames of the past few years," said David Heath, director of operations at Matrix Games. "We're excited to have a chance to work with the Panther Games team and to bring their revolutionary designs to wargamers around the world."

"Over the last year, Matrix Games has shown itself to be a leader in wargame development, distribution and publishing," said Dave O’Connor, president of Panther Games. "Forging a relationship with the fast-growing Matrix Games team will help us to reach as large an audience as possible with our wargames without watering down our designs."

Airborne Assault: Highway to the Reich will be a World War II strategy game. It's still not sure as to when we can expect the game to come out but I'll let you guys know as soon as I hear anything.
