Stratoliner is a rock and roll band. Recently formed, they came kicking and screaming out of the warm womb of Knoxville, TN. So new they are still covered in the sticky sweet placenta of possibility and dreams. Stratoliner brings the rock like few other bands in the area. While most bands hailing from East TN have grown complacent, or are merely pale imitations of mediocre pop-punk bands, Stratoliner has broken the mold. Heavily influenced by the alternative rock of the Nineties, Stratoliner is trying to return to the days when guitar rock ruled the radio. If you like your rock with turntables and samples, with recycled guitar riffs, and blaming-your-parents lyrics, look elsewhere. All you will find here is original sounds, heartfelt writing, and unbridled energy. But... If you are looking for alternative rock, with no frills, this band may fit the bill.
