Lockheed FDL-5A, unmanned hypersonic aircraft, 1969

I have good reasons to believe this aircraft was flown around 1969, from a B-52 carrier aircraft, in either a manned, or an unmanned form. This version is a bit smaller than the manned version, and was used to validate the concept of "compression sharing",which used a carefully contoured rear fuselage shape to eliminate most of the vertical stabiliser surface.

L-301

Prototype for the very special future hypersonic 1/48th scale aircraft kit. (the top-left image show the project as it was, in early 2000. But don't fret yet.. there will be other pictures coming soon... (next month, i hope..), much better ones :) Showing the kit in a much much more complete state, with wings, many details and all).
