To promote EIT and establish good relations in Shandong and get fame outside, Stratos with BDI and under Linyi Municipality’s exhortation  founded the "International Exchange and Training CENTER of Sciences, Technology, Trading and Investment".

Among the aims of the Center are:

1. To manage all activities in China regarding the foundation of EIT
2. To design, organize and run educational courses including continuing education, specific and specified training
3. Prepare prospective EIT students
4. Promote EIT
5. Promote new, advanced and high tech

We have designed a Management course for high level officials of the Linyi area. The curriculum includes a trip to Europe. Already 25 officials are attending the program and late April they will arrive to Europe where they will spend about 4 weeks. Meetings with Government, local authorities, Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Cultural, Educational entities, as well as companies are already scheduled to accept them. Among the members of the group are: the Party’s Secretary, Deputy Mayor, most directors of government departments, chairmen of large local companies, etc.

In June, there is a ceremony scheduled for the graduation of the first group. During this banquet, Chinese local and state government representatives, as well as European Delegation, Embassies from Europe and elsewhere have expressed interest in responding to our invitation by participating.
