She dived forward, the wakizashi held out to taste the flesh of her opponent, though the blade was met and deflected by another wakizashi, the opponents katana coming straight at her head. Tanto up, the blade it stopped inches from her face and she pushes away as they face off again. The katana flipped in his hand, the man moves forward low at her legs. She slams the wakizashi into the ground and using it as a brace, swings up and kicks the man across the face. He rolls out of it easily and steps back as she pulls the wakizashi from the ground, standing to go again. Small locks of hair stream down over the headband and across her face from the ponytail holding back the rest of her hair, fighting to keep her breathing under control. Her opponent smiles and resheaths his blades.
"
Ii da yo, Yuu-chan. An interesting way to use your weapons."
She smiles brightly and lets her arms rest at her sides, catching her breath now. "
Arigato Okita-sama."
Saito watches quietly from under the overhang around the dojo. Kondou Isami, captain of the Shinsengumi, pushes the door open quietly, stepping out and looking at the two as they talk. Okita moves to Yuudachi, moving her arm in a strange way, showing her a new defensive move.
"I hear she bested you during training today, Saitou-san."
He cracks a smile. "I think I drank too much the night before. She caught a blind spot that I had missed."
Kondou sighs. "She has been training non-stop since you and Okita-san brought her back a year and a half ago. I only see her stop to sleep and eat, save the past few weeks when my wife has been teaching her etiquette and how to serve."
Saitou's eyes never leave the two as Okita moves back into a ready stance and they begin their fighting again.
"She is ready to have the final lesson before she starts to work...you know Okita will be the one to deliver that lesson. Though I still think she is too young..."
"I do as well...but she is the perfect spy. None would guess a child..." He sighs and steps from the walkway. "Okita-san, I believe Yuu-chan is ready for her last lesson before she starts her work."
For a rare moment, the ever present smile fades a bit from Okita's face, but it is replaced by a smile. "
Hai Kon-san." He looks back to Yuudachi, her eyes alight at the sound of a new lesson. "Yuu-chan...ike..." The two walk back into the large dojo. A soft rain starts to fall.
"Even the elements know...and they cry..." Saitou sighs shaking his head.
"Okita loves her though, more then he should love a girl of her age. He will make it as painless as possible."
The two of them stay there looking out at the rain.

Her body ached, why was she bleeding? It had felt so good, and yet so out of place. Her small body was in pain, was it supposed to hurt so? Okita told her she would need to know this part of life, told her what she was to do. Then he taught her, his hands so gentle against her small body. She opened her eyes, a dying candlelight burning, casting the only light across the small room. Amber eyes looked upon the man before her, his arms wrapped gently around her body in slumber. He hardly looked his 23 years...he looked more like a 14 year old boy. And even in his sleep he smiled. She wondered what he was dreaming about.

A shite ru ~
His words to her before he drifted off to sleep, they seemed so fresh in her mind. She could hear the rain falling softly outside. She wondered where the others were, what they were doing. Her body winces again and she whimpers a bit, pulling tighter against Okita. His arms pull her closer as if even in sleep can sense her pain. She closes her eyes, shivering a bit. He said that others would not be so gentle, but not to rush. Only to wait for the right moment before they realize their mistake.
~ Think of me if you must, just do not rush. I promise to come back to you every time, but you must do the same ~
All memories, but why did they feel so warm within her? She was so confused, everything seemed...out of place. Her body felt like it wasn't made for this...but was. Just...not now. She closes her eyes tightly, the pain easing a bit, but she just wanted to sleep.
