| My 1973 Chevrolet Camaro RS/Z28/LT was purchased May 22, 1993. I had been looking for a 1970-1973 Z28 for a couple of months and had been checking all newspapers and Auto Trader magazines for the car. Finally, in May, I found this car in an Auto Trader. It had been a drag strip car for quite a while, and few of the stock items were left. It did come with the stock, proper date coded 3.42 posi rear end, which I negotiated with purchase of the car. It had a 4 point roll bar in it. It's original color was medium Orange Metallic, but it had long since been repainted Candy Apple Red. I had it painted to 1991 Chevy Bright Red with Gloss Black runway stripes in January 1995. |
