Men Without Honor

When I arrived at the bike shop the other day I felt a little uneasy about how everyone was dealing with me. I guess I should have felt it coming. When it got down to numbers on the price of the frame they said it had gone up a little since I ordered it. I had paid up front, so I didn't feel I should get any price increases. Then I asked exactly how much a little really was. That's when I found out 1995 had turned into 2847! Anybody got a spare 900 fu*#ing dollars laying around?!

The hauncho at the shop tried to get me to pay it, so I asked him how much it cost to send it to me from Cali? He said 52 bucks, so I told him to take the 52 out of my account and ship it back. I'd rather get a softail for that money! I was there when they got the price quote on the phone. The right frame showed up, so I know there was no miscommunication there. CG says they have no record of that price.

Anyway, after some tense moments we settled on me keeping the frame at their cost. That meant a price increase on my part of 251.47. I still not happy but letting people know about the dishonest practices of people in this business makes me feel a little better. I don't know which side of that problem tried to screw me but I stopped dealing with both.
