This Week;s Article: Allen Iverson v Tupac Shakur
In this words of wisdom, I - Killa K - will be talking in comparison form about Allen Iverson and the deceased Tupac Shkaur (T.I.P - Thug in Peace).
Both African-Americans, both grew up with no father figure, both grew up on close neighbourhoods to each other (Virginia and Brooklyn). And most importantly, both grew up with a hard-workin' single mother who had to live with the trouble makers in the toighest of times.
Iverson's house most of the time had leaks on the roof, so when it rained, there was nothin to protect them. Tupac on the other hand grew up in very similar situations.
The difference was that Tupac was kciked out of the house at 17 cuz of the beef he had wit
his Moms, but Iverson at the age of 17 was playing quarter back Footy for College.

Later, as they grew older, and were gettin realised by the media, and more importantly the government, and the officials, they started to criticise the two talents. Of course as you know Tupac Shakur aka Makaveli the Don was no dizzout the greatest rapper that ever rapped, and Iverson is the greates NBA player to ever play. Both had their own way of makin' money.
At a recent interview wit Iverson. When asked "What do u say to those ppl, who compare you with Tupac Shakur?", Iverson replied by sayin:
"Well, he was a great talent, you can't compare us both, the only thang between us was that we both tryin to get paid".
And that's real. Tupac stole the rap industry spotlight, and Iverson is doin the same with
NBA.
And Tupac Shakur in a song of his named "Runnin' ON E (Bad Boy Killaz)", he rapped the verse:
"Hit the ball like Allen Iverson, with Confidence, leavin no fingerprints". So both talents, recognised each other. OFcourse Tupac;s career ended when Iverson's Started. In the year 1996, 'Pac died, and Iverson started.

But thangs got ugly once thangs didn't go both one's way.
Tupac was accused of sexual assault charges in a night club, when at the same time, Iverson was facing trial over being accused of starting a fight in a bowling alley over some whiteboys. But as y'all know, the media wanted both crucified, and the thangs they was accused for didn't actually take place. Iverson, and 'Pac had to face time, and both came out different men alltogether. They wanted revenge. And to them revenge meant - "Sucess". As long as Iverson and 'Pac were succeeding, the media was gettin more and more envious of both of'em. Iverson got framed, and so did 'Pac.

Both also have tattoos tatted across all their bodies. MOst tattoos reppin' the experiences they had dealt with in their life, or just quotes from their peers. Both had that same
tatoo saying "Hold My Own", which was taken from their peers quote "God bless tha child who can hold his own".
Ofcourse, as i said earlier, Tupac lived a short life of 25 yrs. livin that thug life, one could almost tell that he'd die by the guns. - "Live by the Gun, die by the Gun".
After 'Pac had died, Iverson started his carreer in the NBA wit Philly 76ers. And from then, Iverson has overcome the hardest obstacles, to come out on top , and be the greatest to play. this year, Iverson was at his peak...NO dizzout, but Philly wasn't doin all that for him in the Finals. Pity they lost.

Just Like "Pac, Iverson has also released a rap-album. One of the few players alongside Glenn Robinson, and Latrell Sprewell who like Tupac.
Sprewell was also facing trial over the fight against his coach, when 'Pac was facin trial.
And Glenn Robinson loves to listen to 'Pac all the time.
Iverson is also one of the few players who are starting a rap carreer, but for sure, Iverson will come out on top of that, just as he has done with Basketball.
