Sam the snake is Bobby's best friend, perhaps Bobby'sonly friend. He is the second of the duo in the Bobby comics. Actually just a stuffed animal, Sam comes to life when he feels like it and complicates Bobby's life. He is more level-headed of the two, though, often acting as Bobby's concience, and at other times, the straight man. I have often heard people say that Sam is their most favorite character. I guess sometimes the side-kick outshines the hero.
