Susie Reichley is Texas' first woman bowler to win a professional title. In 1969, she won the TWA Open held in Kansas City, MO. That title propelled her to a spot on the 1969-70 Bowlers Journal All-American team along with the likes of LaVerne Carter, Pat Costello, Dotty Fothergill, and Millie Martorella. Susie is a USA gold level coach and is a former Team USA coach. She won the 1999 TWBA Ladies Senior Classic and finished second in 2001. Susie is a member of the Texas Women's Bowling Association Hall of Fame. Susie recently received the ultimate honor at the 2000 WIBC Annual Convention in Reno, Nevada. It is there she was inducted into the WIBC Hall of Fame.
Carolyn Dorin-Ballard is the current top professional in Texas. Born in New Jersey, Carolyn now resides in Texas with her husband, Del Ballard. Carolyn has been runner-up for PWBA's Bowler of the Year honors four years in a row (1997-2000). Carolyn has fourteen pro titles to her credit. Her most impressive titles are the Inaugural Brunswick Women's World Open and the WIBC Queens, both major tournaments on the PWBA schedule.
