What female bowler(s) from Texas do you admire the most and why? As a young bowler, I looked up to Mary Louise Young, Evelyn Lanier, and Myrt DeFily. They were fierce competitors, knew how to have a good time, and were always gracious to spectators that cheered them on.

What is the funniest thing in bowling you have ever seen or experienced? I am often reminded by friends that I was once in charge of checking the practice schedule at a pro tournament at Sam's Town. Yes, I misread the schedule and caused the entire group to miss the practice session.
