This Application Will Create a delimited file from any AS/400 PF and place it in an AS/400 document folder.

 

The user can select the Library, File, Member, Value for Seperator, AS/400 Folder Name & Document Name.

 

There is also an option to split files over 50,000 records.  This is necessary to import the file into some PC applications (such as Excel).

 

The CL Program has an area to give default values for the user selection screen.

 

To Use Program:

 

Initial Setup:

 

1. Copy application source to AS/400.

 

2. Compile all application source.

 

3. Create a document folder on the AS/400

 

Application Usage:

 

4. Call CL program

 

6. Follow on screen instructions

 

7. File(s) will be placed in AS/400 Folder under document name given.

 

8. Split files will use a suffix of 01, 02, 03.....
